REBECCA HELIE
Rebecca Helie is a Board-Certified Nurse Midwife. After graduating from Brigham Young University-Idaho and earning her Bachelor of Science in Nursing Summa Cum Laude, Rebecca began her career as a labor and delivery RN. Her nursing experience inspired her to create long-term relationships with her patients and to promote shared decision-making through midwifery.
Since earning her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Cincinnati, Rebecca has made it her personal and professional mission to expand access to midwifery care to narrow health disparities, decrease the low-risk cesarean delivery rate, and reduce severe, preventable maternal events through high-quality, patient-centered care.
Rebecca wants her patients to leave their encounters in all settings feeling educated and empowered. She prioritizes the importance of a shared role in patient health. She has additional Certification in Perinatal Mood Disorders, including depression and anxiety, and loves helping new moms through the often difficult perinatal period. Her own long-time experience with infertility and loss empowers her to be a strong advocate for the experiences of her patients. Rebecca’s unique interests include using social media to disperse free, quality, evidence-based women’s health information to the masses.
Rebecca has midwifery experience in both high-volume rural and metropolitan practices. She recently returned to her hometown of Las Vegas, NV, and is thrilled to bring personalized, whole-woman care to the valley.
In her time outside of the office, she is an avid bread maker, manages her Instagram account @becca_helie_cnm, supports her pilot husband, and enjoys their two sweet daughters. Together they are active in their church, love exploring family-friendly activities and restaurants, and care for their dog Buddy.
Rebecca is certified by the American Midwifery Certification Board, is a member of the American College of Nurse-Midwives, a member of Postpartum Support International, a member of the Nevada Midwives Association, and an educational affiliate of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
