LINDSEY MILLEN, DO

EDUCATION:
Dr. Millen earned her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology, cum laude, from Humboldt State University. She went on to complete her medical education at the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine, where she earned her Doctor of Osteopathic (DO) degree.

EXPERIENCE:
Dr. Millen completed her residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center in Hartford, Connecticut.  Her clinical background includes comprehensive obstetric care and gynecologic care across the lifespan, and surgical management, allowing her to support patients through a wide range of needs and life stages.

PATIENT PHILOSOPHY:
“I root my patient care in active listening, clear communication, and respect for patients’ individual values and lived experiences. I work closely with patients to make shared decisions about their care, so they feel informed, supported, and confident in the plan we create together.”  Dr. Millen is a strong believer in making her patients feel comfortable and at ease from the moment they enter the office.

PERSONAL:
Outside of work, Dr. Millen enjoys staying active through soccer and outdoor activities, and unwinding with a good book. She has lived in 5 different states, and she greatly values the perspective that comes with those experiences. After a long day, she most enjoys relaxing with her husband and their dog! Her go-to coffee order is an iced brown sugar shaken espresso.
